ひょっとして勘違いをされてはいませんか？その命名法でいくと、Firefox9.0.1も9.1となってしまいます。確かにややこしいですよね。

メジャーバージョンが二桁台になったせいか、自分も10.0.1というバージョンに少し違和感を感じました。^^;

個人的には、高速リリースサイクルになってマイナーバージョンが上がりにくくなったので、10.1という表記でも良さそうなのにと思いました。

過去のバージョンには、1.5.0.12とか2.0.0.20のように、かなり長い文字数のバージョンもありましたね。

Auto Tune for SSSE3,SSE4.1,SSE4.2,AVX,CORE-AVX2,CORE-AVX-I

VC2010 support only old sse2?
in practical firefox with icc12 is more faster with vc2010?
teteh are plan to build your version with this compiler?

I made it only for technology preview and my wiki MozillaBuiltICC practice.

Mozilla with ICC build has many unknown bugs (most are related with ICC) and I have no much time to handle them.

ps:

The 10 edition may be my final continuously updated edition.

Because many 3rd builds use BetterPGO or BetterPGO thoughts including my MozillaBuiltVC's thinking, I think it's time to save my spare time. Other people who want to build it themselves can refer to my wiki: http://code.google.com/p/pcxfirefox/w/list

Mostly relevant for speed up Mozilla's code are:
- smart PGO
- tete's patch collection
- smart browser config

Whether VC2008, VC2010 or ICC 12.1 /w autotune are not a big question for Firefox.

For me this is pity. You are the ONLY ONE to can competite with tete. All others builds except yours both are BAUBLE.

Main reason is that I have no much time and my computer is so poor that the build process time costs too long.

Except tete009 editions, another 3rd builds may be considered.

htguard X86/X64 editions

Also adopt tete009's patches, and update many modules[jpeg/png/bz2/sqlite3] code of Mozilla to latest edition, use my partial BetterPGO test and My MozillaBuiltVC thoughts (apply some modules which don't depend on the accuracy of floating point calculation with fastmath)

Adopt my more complete BetterPGO test, update jpeg modules to latest, and adopt Intel AES Windows Support Patch.

The only one rational way to update jpeg-module is use turbojpeg...
lawliet's recommendation to set nglayout.initialpaint.delay to 0 is NOT a knowhow ;-)

But ok, we'll see about that...

I have see. Not in comparsion with the original, but In comparsion with yours and tete's build, 32bit msvc version from htguard is inacceptable slow.

I have some other ideas, but no time to realize them : Maybe VC11, ICC perfect support, MinGW(64) build, VC SVML symbols linking or tete full features support. Others can also investigate these features, and welcome to email me to exchange the methods.

When I decide to continue building it, I think mixing VC and ICC is a good idea, and this can ensure the performance and the stability. :-)

Of course, maybe I will bring other optimization then. :-D

Perhaps, others have some good ideas? :-D

Same graphic driver, same OS, same graphic card, same Flash version.

9.0 - container becomes big and bigger with running Flash stream (160MB and more). After stream it wont be littler (!) Standard size bevore streaming: 32MB and ok. Occasional problems with brwoser stability.
Without container, no probs.

9.0.1 - Will bigger, but "only" max. ~70MB. Stability ok. Before streaming few seconds AND AFTER streaming container have 32MB. Great. Perfect.

10.0 first release - Mr. Freeze hits Firefox after ~20 seconds of stream...

10.0 second release - Works exactly than 9.0. But not like 9.0.1 :-(

Nope. With 10.0 second release its a crapshoot. 80% of the streams like first release, 20% like Fx 9.0.

tmemutil.iniの書式（XRE_PROFILE_PATHが適用されない）

tmemutil.iniの環境変数が増えたとのことでプロファイルパスを試してみましたが、以前と同じ所にプロファイルが出来てしまいます。
ポータブルを有効にしているとそちらが優先されるとかでしょうか？
書き方が間違っていたら、お教え願えればと思います。
MOZ_NO_REMOTE=1 は有効になっているように見えます。

XRE_PROFILE_PATH=e:\tetepro\
XRE_PROFILE_PATH=tetepro
とかでプロファイルフォルダを指定しようとしても、
PortableDataPathの方にプロファイルができます。
PortableDataPathを消してもPortableDataに保存されます。

具体的には↓のように書きました。

[General]
Portable=1
PortableDataPath=tetePortableData
CreateCrashDump=0
GdiBatchLimit=0
ProcessAffinityMask=0

[Env]
MOZ_NO_REMOTE=1
XRE_PROFILE_PATH=tetetestpro

XRE_PROFILE_PATHは、フルパスで指定する必要があるみたいです。相対パスはサポートされていないようです。

新規作成は無理なのですね。

既存のを指定したら出来ました。ただ、空のextensionsのフォルダが作られますね。
普通にprofiles.iniで設定した方が良さそうですね。

LNK Errors with Intel's Compiler

I keep getting LNK errors with Intel's compiler. For some reason -link is not a valid optimization flag (which it should be) and is required so that I can use -nodefaultlibs, which would solve the error I get below:

But an interesting thing to note is that when other libs are being compiled -nodefaultlibs is specified (without specifying them as an optimization flag?)

Does anyone know why this problem is caused? Or why when bsdiff.c is being compiled -nodefaultlibs ISN'T being specified along with it?

I don't know how you change the Mozilla Makefile, which add the link option -nodefaultlib:XXX defaultly.

I've followed those instructions word by word. Could it be because I'm using a different version of ICC? I'm using 12.1.1.258 and compiling for intel64 using vs2010. I'm also compiling on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. I doubt any of that has to do with it though, since VS compiles just fine.

Also when I try to use your patch file, it doesn't work and creates .rej files, so I follow the instructions word by word, which is what I did before anyway. I'm curious as to why I'm the only person getting these errors?:-(

I tried to install korean language pack and followed you guys linked up. after restart of browser, the firefox's languege is still En. Would you help me out please??

When I use the firefox normal version, The Icon on the task bar can be clicked with right button so the menu showed up but this version couldn't be. Is there any solution of this problem?? (I linked the image file url that make you understand better..)

Firefox3.6系列の頃まではmidradio Helperを利用させていただいておりました。
現在はVer9にしておりますので利用しておりませんが、今後は最新Verに対応させる予定があるのでしょうか?

今までMidRadio Helperをご使用くださり、ありがとうございます。

更新を怠っていた2年ほどの間に、プラグインの仕様変更があったため、MidRadio Helperのソースコードを大幅に書き換える必要が出てきました。

現在サンプルをビルドして勉強中ですが、うまくいくかまだ分かりません。うまくいったら更新したいと思います。

MidRadio Helper Plug-inを更新しました。

相変わらず動作が不安定ですが、Firefoxで導入されたOOPPのおかげか、少しはクラッシュしにくくなった気がします。:-P
